Dear Parents/Carers,
We have come to the end of another rewarding, challenging and sometimes overwhelming term at St Paul’s. However, even when the challenges have been overwhelming, either with your child, family life or school, please know I am deeply grateful for those who have worked through those times with us (the teachers, leaders and myself) to find the way through, even when it has been hard. When we work in true collaboration, I am amazed at what we can do as a community.
Even when you don’t include the day to day learning experiences the students have:
- Father’s Day Stall
- Soccer Gala Day
- Netball Gala Day
- Chess Competition
- School Disco
- Grade excursions
As you can see the list is again significant, something impossible to achieve without us working together.
In addition the Leadership Team and Staff have received the final report from the School Cyclic Inquiry process. In summary, we have three key goals that we as a school will focus on and put considerable energy into over the next four years. The summary will be shared with you via this newsletter and will also be sent out as a notification. I will be spending some time unpacking the goals with the P & F next term. The three goals are:
Enjoy the school vacation.

Fortnightly Target For PB4L
Our target for this fortnight is, At St Paul’s, I will not disrupt others when they are learning. The students have been learning that sometimes other people disrupt me and that makes me feel frustrated when I'm trying to learn. Students need to make a choice about being respectful of their peers and their learning and deciding on whether or not they should make a particular choice. This is essential for the provision of a safe and supportive learning environment, and helps build positive relationships.

House Cup
Each term, students are rewarded with tokens towards their house, if they are seen displaying positive behaviours that have been taught to them. They also receive points towards the house cup, through Waste Free Wednesday.
Macarthur house (yellow) are to be congratulated on their fantastic behaviour, they were a great example for term 3.
St Paul's Enrichment & Extension Kids - SPEEK
SPEEK
This week in SPEEK we had a robot race and Bryson and Oliver designed a dancing robot. Coding teaches students how to break down complex problems into manageable parts, enhancing their analytical thinking.
Western Region Basketball
Last week, more than 80 students participated in the two-day Western Region Basketball Gala Days. The main aim of diocesan gala days is to give students a chance to play and have fun with basketball in a non-competitive setting. We want to thank the volunteers, teachers, and parents who have supported us in giving our students another valuable experience. Thank you!
NSW PSSA Football
Congratulations to Dom, who represented Catholic Schools NSW as a member of the Mackillop Team at the NSW Primary School Sports Association Football Championship in Tamworth. His outstanding performance and the team's ability to work together enabled them to secure an incredible gold medal.
Congratulations, Dom we are proud of your efforts and humility!
