Fortnightly Target For PB4L

Our target for this fortnight is, At St Paul’s, I will not disrupt others when they are learning.  The students have been learning that sometimes other people disrupt me and that makes me feel frustrated when I'm trying to learn.  Students need to make a choice about being respectful of their peers and their learning and deciding on whether or not they should make a particular choice. This is essential for the provision of a safe and supportive learning environment, and helps build positive relationships.

Student will

Teacher will

Parent will

  • Learn about what a poor choice may look like and what they can do when they have made a poor choice.
  • Understand boundaries.
  • Learn about what a poor choice may look like and what they can do when they have made a poor choice.
  • Teacher models expected behaviour.
  • Remind students of the expectations
  • Teach students to be respectful of their peers and their learning.
  • Teach students why we need to be respectful of others and their learning.
  • Discuss the expectations with their children.
  • Have an age-appropriate conversation with children about not being disruptive and to be considerate of their peers and their learning.

House Cup

Each term, students are rewarded with tokens towards their house, if they are seen displaying positive behaviours that have been taught to them. They also receive points towards the house cup, through Waste Free Wednesday.

Macarthur house (yellow) are to be congratulated on their fantastic behaviour, they were a great example for term 3.
