School Fees

Letters will be sent home over the coming weeks to families who appear to have fallen behind in their school fees and have not made contact with the school office or completed a COVID-19 Fee Concession Application.

To assist families the CEO in conjunction with the school have developed the following:

    • A simplified COVID-19 Fee Concession Application form
    • A centralised process involving a single application per family, regardless of the number of different CEDoW schools attended by children and siblings
    • A clear and simple Frequently Asked Questions document available on the CEDoW website
    • An opportunity for families to opt in to a streamlined process by providing CEDoW with permission to access relevant Centrelink information

The application form and additional information is available from the CEDoW websiteor directly from the school office.

Should you have any questions please contact Bronwyn Roberts in the school office on 46548900.

    School Fees Credits

Recently the 2020 excursion/incursion & associated actives levy was credited to all school fee accounts.  This may of caused your account to go into credit.

If you have a fee credit, have no children attending St Paul’s in 2021 and are not sending your child to a  Wollongong Diocesan high school please email info@spcdow.catholic.edu.au to request a refund including your bank account details BSB & account number.  The school will forward your request to the Catholic Education Office to action.

For families that have a fee credit and their child is attending a Wollongong Diocesan High School in 2021 the fee credit will be forwarded with your child to their new high school.

    Provision of Water

A reminder the school bubblers continue to not be in use. We ask that you please ensure your child has sufficient water for the school day.

    Birthday Celebrations

If your child is celebrating a birthday we ask that you do not send in any cakes, lolly bags, or treats to be shared with the class, as there may be a cross contamination.

If your child is celebrating a birthday and you are wanting to send in something for the class please only send Allen's type lollypops that are fully sealed and individually wrapped.

    Illness_pic.png

Please do not send you child to school if they are sick.

During this time, the CEO is in line with the Federal and State Government directives to ensure we offer a safe school/workplace for children and staff. It is therefore your duty of care to the school that you as a parent keep sick children at home until they are fully recovered, regardless of the type of illness your child has.
If your child presents to the sick bay with cold/flu like symptoms, they will have their temperature taken and will be required to wear a mask, as per CEO guidelines. Parents will be phoned to immediately collect their child.
Following the Catholic Education Office's new guidelines, as from Tuesday, 18 August 2020 students who are sent home from school when they are unwell with cold/flu like symptoms will need to obtain a negative COVID-19 test before they can return to school.
It is important that we maintain the regulations required in terms of reporting any incidents of COVID-19. It is also vital that you inform the school if your child has been tested for COVID-19, or is in isolation due to being a close contact of someone being tested.
