Library News
The library is a busy place where students love to come and spend time. We have a fabulous collection of books and resources.
- The library is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 8.30 - 8.55 as well as Monday and Tuesday first break for Infants and Wednesday and Thursday second break for Primary .
- Students come to the library weekly to have lessons and borrow. We ask that they have a library bag for borrowing so as to keep the books safe and protected from any spillage in their school bag.
- Overdue notes are handed out twice a term and we ask that these books are returned as soon as possible. Any lost or damaged books need to be paid for at the school office.
- Scholastic Book Club pamphlets are handed out twice a term, where books can be ordered online. These books are excellent value for money and the school gets reward points to purchase resources for the library.
We are always in need of assistance with reshelving and covering books. If you are interested in helping in the library, please email your interest via info@spcdow.catholic.edu.au
Covering can be done at home and we supply the contact/plastic and instruct you how to apply it.
