St Paul’s House Cup
Students have been working really hard throughout term 3 to earn tokens on the playground so that their house can earn the House Cup. The house that collects the most tokens throughout a term from K-6 is rewarded with extra play.
McCabe has been holding strong all term, however in week 9 Macarthur ended up winning with a total of 691 tokens. We will have to wait until more are counted on Wednesday morning to know who the official winner will be!
Here is what some of the students have to say about earning tokens on the playground and the House Cup:
‘You can earn tokens by doing helpful things for others or the teachers’ - Ashley S, Therry
‘I got a token for doing the right thing by sitting down and eating during break. I love the free play reward’ - Sienna V, McCabe
‘I have earnt tokens by playing fairly and picking up rubbish’ - Ryan L, McCabe
‘I love having free play as a reward. It makes people want to keep on trying to get more every time’ - Jasmine B, McCabe
‘I get tokens when I follow instructions, including people in games, playing nicely and playing fairly’ - Donny O Macarthur
‘Mackillop may have lost this term but we are going to come back next term!’ - Dylan T, Mackillop
