2024 NAPLAN Results
NAPLAN results were sent home with students last Friday. Parents in year 5 are reminded to keep these results in a safe place as they will be required when applying for High School.
Attendance Notes
For any whole day absence, parents will need to access their Compass parent portal and log the absence before 11am on the day their child is not at school. If you fail to do this you will receive a Compass alert requesting that you explain your child’s absence on the day your child is away. The school must receive notification of the reason for the absence within 7 days of the return to school. In the event that an explanation is not supplied the absence will be recorded as Unjustified/Unexplained.
Partial Absences
We ask that you do not enter an attendance note if your child has a partial absence (eg; arriving late or leaving early). These will be entered by office staff when you are in the foyer to drop off or collect your children.
Leave During the School Term
When taking your child/children out of school, during term for a holiday or extended leave (3 school days or over) you are required to submit a request for leave. This can be done by emailing info@spcdow.catholic.edu.au
School Fees
School fee statements will be emailed to all parents/carers this Thursday, 1 August 2024. You may also view your school fee account in the Compass Parent Portal.
Families not paying by instalment plan, your 2024 school fees were due on Thursday, 28 February 2024. If you are yet to pay your school fees in full you will be contacted by the school shortly and an appointment will be made for you to come and discuss the non-payment of your school fees with Mr Reardon. Families currently paying school fees by instalment, providing your instalments are up to date you will not be contacted.
For families currently experiencing financial difficulty, please do not ignore your school fee statement, please contact the school immediately and request a 'Fee Concession Form'. Once the form is completed and returned to the school, an appointment will be made for you with Mr Reardon so you can discuss your current situation. Mr Reardon will put a mutually agreed payment plan in place to assist you with paying your school fees and prevent you falling further behind and your school fee account being forwarded to the CEDoW School Fee Liasion Office for debt collection.
