The school holiday period offers students a much needed rest from academic learning and an opportunity to engage in other activities that relate to their social and emotional learning. We are sure that families are looking forward to spending some quality time with their children, engaging in a variety of activities.

Some of our students may be seeking to further develop skills in particular areas of interest. The Australian Museum, Sydney offers a range of interactive sessions that parents can book their children in to, focusing on Science, inquiry and First Nations History and Art. A local company, Snaplolgy offers School Holiday Programs related to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Maths).

These are just two examples of activities to engage your children’s mind during the holiday period. It is worthwhile investigating what local museums, parks and companies have on offer. Whatever your children do these holidays, we hope that they have a restful and enjoyable break.
