On Wednesday, 20 March 2024, four Year 5 and 6 students attended the annual Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong Environment Network Day. This day is an opportunity for representatives from each primary school in the diocese to gather and learn about ways to respond to our call, as Catholics to care for our common home, the Earth.

Victoria, Maddison, Veronica and Jonah were excellent representatives for St Paul's. They listened to a keynote address from Pip Kiernan from Clean Up Australia. Pip shared her father's vision to create the organisation and the work they do to help our environment. We were inspired by Pip's ideas. We then engaged in activities to discuss ways that we can lead our school community to be more aware of the environment and be better stewards of creation and learnt that every person has an important role to play and that any small action can have an impact. 

The students were commissioned as Eco Ambassadors and look forward to sharing their ideas with our school community to lead environmental change at St Paul's.
