Caritas Project Compassion Launch

On Tuesday, 13 February 2024, we the school captains together with Mr Reardon and Mrs Debrincat, represented St Paul’s at the Project Compassion launch. This significant event was held at John Therry Catholic College and was attended by representatives from all Catholic Schools in the Diocese. 

The Caritas organisation opened our eyes and showed us how grateful we should be for the shelter, education and many other things we have and enjoy. The speakers reminded us that there are people in different countries who are not as fortunate as us.

They showed us ways of how our little donations can change the lives of people in need. For example $7 can buy a family  a chicken which can provide eggs for breakfast.

The SRC(school representative council, Mr Reardon and Mrs Debrincat look forward to our school donating to Project Compassion in 2024 to help change the lives of people living in poverty.
