School News

LATE ARRIVALS
If your child arrives late to school, they must be accompanied into the school office by a parent and an explanation given. If this does not occur your childs lateness will be logged as unexplained.

HOLIDAY LEAVE REQUESTS

If you are planning a family hoilday within the school terms, you must apply for leave in writing to Mr Reardon.  Once holiday leave is approved by the Principal it will then be entered onto Compass by office staff.

HAIR POLICY

There are still some students coming to school with haircuts that are outside of our school policy. Below is what our policy states about hair.

HAIR

Students are required to wear their hair in a neat and tidy manner.  Haircuts should be of an even grade. Hair should be well brushed and combed and it is assumed that hair will not be in such a condition as to invite comment. Ribbons must be school colours. No oversized bows and hair embellishments.

BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Extreme styles, bleaching, colouring or dyeing of hair are not permitted.
  • Gel, mousse and hair spray or other substances should not be used.
  • There will be no undercuts, steps or shaved lines within the hair.
  • Nothing shorter than a Number 3 comb is acceptable.
  • Hair should not extend to cover the eyes or touch the shirt collar (boys).
  • Boys hair should be of a length not to attract attention. ‘Man buns’ are not permitted at St Paul’s.
  • Students who do not abide by the haircut requirements will be asked to fix the identified problem.
  • Long hair is to be tied back or plaited. Ribbons and bands of school colour are to be worn.

WOOLWORTHS EARN & LEARN

We are excited to be taking part in the 2019 Woolworths Earn & Learn program. During previous campaigns, we were able to purchase some great resources with the points earned.

Collect your stickers at Woolworths and for every $10 you spend, you will receive a sticker. Your children can then place them on the special sticker sheet. Once completed, bring it to school or drop them into your local Woolworths collection box.
