YEAR 3 - AGAT TESTING

On Wednesday, 21 June 2023, students in Year 3 students will sit the AGAT (General Ability Testing). This online assessment allows students to showcase their ability to reason, make logical deductions, identify connections and spot patterns. The questions in the test do not require any prior knowledge from any particular content area. The test is another data source teachers can use to monitor all students. Students who perform extremely high may need to be referred to the gifted and talented middle leaders for continued observation, monitoring or further testing. This assessment forms part of the school's process of identifying students with potential academic giftedness.
